Because many of our friends and family members live miles away from us, we have created this journal in an attempt to keep in touch with the people that we love.

Quinlan's 2nd Birthday

Quinny had a great second birthday, if you can ignore the cold, freezing weather. Okay, maybe I am being a bit dramatic. I really try my best to avoid the cold.
We had his party at the city park, and all of our friends and family were there to celebrate with us. It was great!
I met a very talented woman who makes designer cakes, and she prepared a Toy Story themed cake and some delicious cupcakes, my parents found a huge pinata for the kids to beat that was shaped like a number two, we ate pizza, visited with friends/family, played with the kids on the park toys, and had a great time.
Quinlan received a lot of great books which THRILLED him to no end. His favorite book came from Uncle Taylor and Aunt Lori. It is a pop-up book, called One Red Dot, that I was afraid to let him touch, but he is obsessed with it and asks for it approximately every 60 minutes. :)
My parents came over from Bakersfield to help set everything up for the party. They are amazing like that. Big brother Colin came from Oregon to celebrate with us, and he worked for several days on assembling a swing set for Quinlan's birthday. Don't ask.
